MARKETING & CONTENT INTERN

About the Role

Singh Machinery Sdn Bhd is looking for an energetic and creative Marketing & Content Intern to join our team in Johor Bahru.

We specialise in the sale of quality imported used excavators and construction machinery. We are looking for someone who can help us build a strong daily presence on social media through videos, photos, reels, stories and creative marketing content.

This is a hands-on role. You will be working around real construction machinery, filming machines arriving, inspections, customer testing, deliveries, refurbishment work and day-to-day activity at our machinery yard.

What You Will Do

• Create daily short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook
• Film excavators, telehandlers and other construction machinery
• Take high-quality photos of machines for advertisements and listings
• Edit videos using CapCut, Canva or similar applications
• Create engaging captions, graphics, posters and promotional content
• Post consistently across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• Create Instagram/Facebook Stories showing daily yard activity
• Help maintain and grow the Singh Machinery social media accounts
• Create videos highlighting machine condition, specifications and features
• Film customer visits, machine testing, deliveries and new stock arrivals
• Assist with Facebook Marketplace and online machinery advertisements
• Come up with creative content ideas to make our machinery videos more engaging
• Track which videos and posts perform well and improve future content
• Help build the Singh Machinery brand online

Who We Are Looking For

You do not need previous experience in construction machinery.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys creating videos and social media content
• Understands TikTok, Instagram Reels and current social media trends
• Can shoot and edit videos confidently using a smartphone
• Has basic knowledge of CapCut, Canva or similar editing software
• Is creative and willing to experiment with new content ideas
• Is comfortable working in an outdoor machinery-yard environment
• Can work independently and consistently
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
• Can communicate in English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin would be an advantage
