Account Officer

About the Role

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and credit/debit notes.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP).
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Process supplier invoices and arrange payments according to company procedures.
• Perform daily bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and supporting records.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of management accounts.
• Assist with preparation of financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting activities when required.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, and other departments regarding billing and payment matters.
• Assist external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties during audits and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and cost-control activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management
