Civil Site Engineers

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Execute work assigned according to schedule through proper planning.
• Ensure project meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring and supervising the work and to take the appropriate actions timely to remedy any shortcoming.
• Check all construction drawings, identify and highlight discrepancies, if any, and take the appropriate timely follow-up actions.
• Schedule, coordinate and monitor utilization of site machineries to ensure optimum usage.
• Controlling and managing site materials, which includes ordering materials
• Co-ordinate progress meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and other professionals associated with the project, often producing daily/weekly reports.
• Responsible for weekly site meeting to discuss progress on site and co-ordinate with site team to ensure problems is resolved quickly.
• Responsible for overseeing the workforce, site welfare and health and safety.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
• Preferably Junior/Senior Executives specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction
• Self-motivated, possess good interpersonal and communication skills
