A Day in the Life of a Personalized Internet Ads Assessor

In this role, you will evaluate commercial digital content against strict policy and quality frameworks. Your judgment determines whether ads meet compliance standards, communicate honestly, and serve local market context appropriately. 

• Evaluate online ad content, landing pages, and commercial messaging against detailed policy compliance and quality frameworks 
• Assess local market relevance and brand intent across diverse commercial sectors, considering regional consumer expectations and cultural norms 
• Apply structured compliance reasoning to identify misleading, deceptive, low-quality, or policy-violating ad placements 
• Distinguish borderline cases where ads approach but do not cross policy lines, using detailed reasoning frameworks 
• Provide structured rationale that trains compliance and policy evaluation models 

The estimated hourly earnings for this role is 8.50 USD. Payment is based on completed tasks, with the potential for higher earnings based on productivity.

Requirements:

• Professional fluency in English and Malaysian  (native or near-native proficiency required)
• Residency in Malaysia for the last 3 consecutive years
• Strong analytical thinking and detail-oriented evaluation capability
• Deep local market fluency and commercial awareness in Malaysia 
• Emotional composure and impartial judgment when reviewing provocative or policy-borderline content
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional) in a technical, analytical, or humanities discipline (preferred)
• Ability to apply detailed frameworks consistently across varying task types
• Access to a stable broadband internet, a reliable computer and a smartphone (Android 4.1+ or iOS 8+)

Service Rates 

Compensation is based on tasks completed and project availability. Estimated earnings may vary depending on task volume and program requirements including, quality, and productivity, in accordance with the program’s quality standards and guidelines.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis. Contributors have the flexibility to choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements.
