About the Role

Accounts Assistant – Basic Job Scope

  1. Handle daily accounting data entry and filing.
  2. Prepare and issue invoices and official receipts.
  3. Check and record supplier invoices and payments.
  4. Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  5. Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
  6. Prepare bank reconciliation and basic accounting reports.
  7. Handle petty cash and staff claims.
  8. Assist with monthly accounting closing.
  9. Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
  10. Assist the Accountant / Finance Manager with other accounting tasks when required
