About the Role

Are you an engineering graduate who enjoys solving technical problems, understanding how things work, and communicating with customers?

Join MSP Metrology, a Malaysian measurement solutions provider specialising in metrology, precision measurement, material testing, inspection equipment and calibration services.

This is more than a traditional sales position. As a Sales Engineer, you will combine your engineering knowledge with technical problem-solving and customer engagement to recommend the right measurement solutions for real industrial applications.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, particularly Mechanical Engineering (Materials) or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in engineering, technical sales, application engineering, manufacturing, quality or related fields are welcome.
• Strong interest in engineering, manufacturing, measurement technology and technical solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate confidently with customers and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.

What You’ll Do

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable metrology, measurement and testing solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions with customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers in manufacturing, engineering, quality and productions industries.
• Identify new business opportunities and follow up on sales enquiries, quotations and projects.
• Work closely with our technical team to understand customer measurement and inspection requirements.
• Visit customer sites to understand applications, troubleshoot requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Support customers throughout the sales process — from initial enquiry to solution proposal and after-sales support.
• Continuously develop your knowledge of precision measurement, inspection technology and industrial applications.
