Business Development Executive

About the Role

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and results-driven Business Development Executive to support the CEO and Business Development Consultant in managing business development activities, client relationships, and related administrative work.

The successful candidate will assist in coordinating business development activities, preparing documentation, following up with clients, and supporting the CEO and Business Development Consultant in their day-to-day tasks. The role will also involve joining client meetings, site visits, and business discussions whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Support

• Assist the CEO and Business Development Consultant in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Assist in managing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Follow up with clients, leads, and business opportunities as directed.
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, and other business development documents.
• Conduct research on potential clients, market opportunities, and industry trends.
• Maintain proper records of leads, client information, follow-ups, and business development activities.
• Assist in coordinating appointments, meetings, and client follow-ups.

CEO & Business Development Consultant Support

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the CEO and Business Development Consultant in relation to business development activities.
• Assist with preparation of documents, reports, presentations, meeting materials, and other administrative tasks.
• Coordinate and follow up on matters assigned by the CEO and Business Development Consultant.
• Attend and support client meetings, presentations, site visits, and business discussions whenever required.
• Take meeting notes, record action items, and assist with necessary follow-ups after meetings.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams on matters related to assigned business development activities.
• Ensure that relevant documents and information are properly organized and maintained.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the CEO, Business Development Consultant or Management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Interior Design, Construction or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Servicing, Business Administration or a related role.
• Experience in interior design, renovation, fit-out, construction, retail or F&B industries will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable preparing documents, presentations, and reports.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable communicating and dealing with clients and external parties.
• Willing to travel for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities.
• Must possess their own transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work independently while also supporting the CEO and Business Development Consultant as part of the team.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, resourceful, confident, and hands-on, with good communication skills and the ability to support both business development and administrative functions.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys meeting clients, coordinating business activities, preparing documents, and working closely with senior management in a fast-paced environment.
