About the Role

HIT TECHNOLOGY INTELLIGENT SDN. BHD. is looking for a motivated SMT Screen Printer Engineer to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is a full-time position, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

1.Installation, setup, and commissioning of SMT screen printing machines.

2.Performing routine calibration, cleaning and preventative maintenance of screen printers and associated tooling

3.Troubleshooting printing defects and process issues, including solder bridges, insufficient paste transfer and print misalignment

  1. Optimising screen printing parameters such as squeegee pressure, speed, separation distance and snap-off to meet product specifications
  2. Developing and refining screen printing processes for new product introductions and design changes
  3. Conducting process capability studies and statistical analysis to ensure printing processes remain within control limits
  4. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of process setups, parameters and troubleshooting activities
  5. Collaborating with design engineers, quality assurance teams and manufacturing staff to resolve technical challenges
  6. Ensuring adherence to environmental, health and safety standards within the manufacturing environment
  7. Participate in technical training and continuously develop knowledge of SMT screen printing equipment and processes.

What we’re looking for

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Training will be provided. Candidates with relevant working experience are also welcome.
  3. Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems is an advantage.
  4. Willing to learn, with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Willing to travel for local outstation and overseasassignments when required.
  8. Possess a valid driving licence (preferred).
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  10. Able to read and understand technical manuals and engineering drawings is an advantage.
  11. Knowledge of SMT equipment or PCB assembly processes is an added advantage, but not required.
  12. 5 days work week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
